With a distinguished career spanning over three and a half decades, John has dedicated his professional life to the financial services industry. Throughout his tenure, he has been a steadfast member of the Prudential team, and in 1993, he founded his own firm within the company. Under his leadership, his team has devoted themselves to providing exceptional service to their valued clients.
In addition to his business pursuits, John is deeply committed to serving his community. A proud alumnus of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Finance and Accounting in 1986, John has maintained a strong connection to his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon. Since 1989, he has served on its Board of Trustees and held various leadership positions, including being honored with the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2013. Throughout this time, he has dedicated countless hours to mentoring young men to strive for the ideals of the fraternity: becoming gentlemen, athletes, leaders, and scholars, as they work to become balanced leaders in their communities.
While focusing on growing his practice, John also gives back to his community. Having joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity in 1984 while in college, John has been serving on its Board of Trustees since 1989. He has served in every capacity on the board and in 2013 was presented the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his beloved fraternity’s national headquarters. John has spent countless hours mentoring college men to work towards the fraternity’s ideal of being gentlemen, athletes, leaders, and scholars as they endeavor to become balanced leaders for our nation’s communities.
Since 2001, John continues to serve his community as a firefighter on the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department. He has served as a firefighting officer for five years and has held every administrative position, including his most recent position as President of the department.
Throughout his illustrious career, John has consistently demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for success as a representative of Prudential. He is a perennial qualifier for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and holds three Court of the Table distinctions. His team, too, has earned numerous accolades for their outstanding performance, including numerous Prudential Presidential Citations, awarded to the company’s top representatives, and Gold awards for their excellence in Property and Casualty production in each year of John’s tenure. Additionally, John has been recognized for his exceptional service by inclusion in Prudential’s Annuity Master’s Council, Life Concierge, and has received Prudential’s Signature Service award at the Chairman’s level.
A long time resident of Chatham, NJ, John’s personal life is no less fulfilling than his professional one. He is the proud father of two daughters, Emily and Sara, both of whom work in his firm alongside his wife and business partner, Nina. His family is also expanding, with Emily’s children Jackson and Cameron and Sara’s baby girl Emma, he and Nina are enjoying the role of grandparents. When not dedicating himself to his business and community, John is an avid traveler and skier, as well as a motorcycle rider, golfer, and skeet and trap shooter. His diverse interests reflect a zest for life and a desire for new experiences.
