John has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, all of them have been with Prudential. In 1986, John graduated Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Finance and Accounting. Shortly after graduation, John joined Prudential and opened his own firm in 1993. He and his team have been serving clients ever since.
While focusing on growing his practice, John also gives back to his community. Having joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity in 1984 while in college, John has been serving on its Board of Trustees since 1989. He has served in every capacity on the board and in 2013 was presented the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his beloved fraternity’s national headquarters. John has spent countless hours mentoring college men to work towards the fraternity’s ideal of being gentlemen, athletes, leaders, and scholars as they endeavor to become balanced leaders for our nation’s communities.
Since 2001, John continues to serve his community as a firefighter on the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department. He has served as a firefighting officer for five years and has held every administrative position, including his most recent position as President of the department.
Throughout his career, John has consistently finished each year among the most successful Prudential representatives. He is a perennial qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) with 3 Court of the Table qualifications. John’s team has also received many awards for his firm’s efforts, including numerous Prudential Presidential Citations - awarded to its top representatives, Gold awards – awarded to top performing Property and Casualty producers for every year that he has been in practice, as well as inclusion in Prudential’s Annuity Master’s Council, Life Concierge and Prudential’s Signature Service award at the Chairman’s level.
John lives in Chatham, NJ. He is married and has two daughters, Emily and Sara, both of whom work in his firm, along with his wife and business partner, Nina. John and Nina recently became the proud grandparents of Emily’s son, Jackson. John enjoys travelling and skiing with his family, as well as motorcycle riding, golfing and skeet and trap shooting.
